About MABC

The Magazine Association of BC (formerly known as the BC Association of Magazine Publishers) represents, connects and promotes the BC magazine industry by uniting the talent, knowledge and skills of its publishers, editors, writers, graphic artists, salespeople and others in the industry. BC magazines foster award-winning talent and represent some of the best periodicals published in Canada. MABC membership is made up of a wide variety of magazines, from small to large, literary to lifestyle and leisure, arts and culture, news, business, and special interest magazines.

These titles represent the diverse interests of British Columbians and are read by more than one million people around the world. MABC works to create an environment in which BC magazine publishers can continue to integrate culture with entrepreneurial enthusiasm.

MABC, founded in 1993, is a member-run organization, with a mandate to work on behalf of our membership. All of our projects are developed in conjunction with our members and respond to their needs.
